Kanye West announces 2024 presidential bid

Kanye West, who has faced multiple issues due to his recent behaviour, has announced his intention to run for president of the United States in 2024.

Kanye West, who has faced multiple issues due to his recent behaviour, has announced his intention to run for president of the United States in 2024.

The celebrity, who has legally changed his name to Ye, shared a video of his campaign logo on social media with the phrase “Ye 24.”

In addition, he said he had approached Donald Trump about becoming his running mate.

In 2020, West attempted a presidential run, but he only received 70,000 votes.

After West and prominent white nationalist Nick Fuentes were sighted at Trump’s Mar-A-Lago golf club earlier this week, West made his most recent assertions in a video broadcast online.

West claimed that the former president was “very agitated” by his request for a running mate, given that he had just started his reelection campaign.

West alleged that Trump “started screaming at me at the table, telling me I’m going to lose” in a video dubbed “Mar-A-Lago Debrief.” “Has that ever worked for anyone in history?”

The 45-year-talent old’s agency cut ties with him after he made anti-Semitic statements online and in TV interviews, and several major clothing brands, including Gap, Adidas, and Balenciaga, announced they would no longer collaborate with him.

The musician later said he had lost “2 billion dollars in one day.”

It was alleged earlier this week by Rolling Stone that Adidas staffers making West’s Yeezy brand shoes were subjected to a “toxic environment” characterised by “porn, bullying, and mind games” on the part of West.

On Thursday, the business announced that it had begun investigating the allegations.

After announcing his candidacy for president in 2020, West found out too late that he would not be on the ballot in at least six states.

He bought two television ads and held only one rally, where he cried while speaking about abortion. Ultimately, he could only get his name on the ballot in a dozen states.

The rapper implied that alt-right commentator Milo Yiannopoulos will be managing his 2024 campaign.

After a video surfaced in 2017 showing Yiannopoulos seemingly condoning paedophilia, he was mainly rejected by mainstream conservatives, where he had previously held the position of editor at the right-wing website Breitbart. He described the remarks as “gallows humour” and expressed “disgust” at the sexual exploitation of children.

Yiannopolous most recently interned for Republican congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene.
