Ekiti governor appoints eight special advisers into cabinet

Biodun Oyebanji, the governor of Ekiti State, has approved the appointment of eight Special Advisers.

His Chief Press Secretary, Yinka Oyebode, made the announcement in a statement.

The new Special Advisers were of cabinet rank, according to the spokesperson.

General Ebenezer Ogundana, a retired general, has been reappointed as Security Adviser.

Niyi Adebayo (Investment, Trade, and Industry); Mrs. Tayo Adeola (Budget, Economic Planning, and Performance Management).

Dr. Kofoworola Aderiye (Agriculture and Food Security); Ebenezer Boluwade (Education, Science, and Technology).

Chief Jide Awe (Political and Inter-Party Affairs); Tope Ogunleye (Special Projects Bureau); and Seun Fakuade (Governance, Reforms, and Innovation).

Oyebode, the CPS, also serves as the SA for Media and Strategy.

The governor urged the appointees to devote their time, talent, and expertise to Ekiti’s development.
