Portugal’s Cristiano Ronaldo makes World Cup vow ahead Super Eagles game

Cristiano Ronaldo has committed to devote his full attention to Portugal in the wake of his latest incident.

On Thursday in Lisbon, the former European champions will face the Super Eagles of Nigeria in a friendly to see how well they are prepared for the World Cup.

After giving a televised interview in which he harshly criticized his club Manchester United and coach Erik ten Hag, the superstar forward joined the Portugal squad on Monday.

Ronaldo participated in the team’s first practice on Monday evening.

The former Real Madrid great took to social media to declare his commitment to helping Portugal win the World Cup for the first time.

“Total and absolute focus on national team work,” Ronaldo pledged.

In Group H at Qatar 2022, Fernandos Santos’ side will meet Ghana, Uruguay, and South Korea.
